A safe loading bay

Two traffic lights that talk to each other: one for the driver, one for the forklift operator. They are never green together. Try it yourself: turn the selector, open the bay, load the truck.

How it works

One principle: never two greens.

Most dock accidents stem from a misunderstanding between the truck driver and the forklift driver. The Stagnoli system removes the misunderstanding: the bay has one status only, visible from both sides.

Note: the demo shows the operating logic. Connections, interlocks with door and dock leveller and the function of the mushroom button depend on the installation: always refer to the ASFSW230 manual.

Frequently asked questions

What warehouse managers ask us.

Why two traffic lights and not one?

One talks to the driver, the other to the forklift operator. They are always in opposite states: if the forklift can enter the trailer, the truck must not move, and vice versa. A single traffic light can't say two different things to two people.

What voltage is needed?

The ASFSW230 selector runs on 230 Vac. The traffic lights can be Chronos (24–230 V, detects the voltage by itself) or Apollo in the 230 V version. The dock lights accept 100 to 277 Vac.

Can it be integrated with the door and dock leveller?

Yes, that's the most common case. Interlocks depend on the door and leveller control panels: open a ticket with your system diagram and our technical department will show you the connections.

How much does a system like this consume?

Very little: two 230 V LED traffic lights draw about 5 W per lit light, the selector 4.6 W. The main item is the lamp, only on during loading. Do the maths with the energy impact calculator.
