From 10 to 13 November, Stagnoli presents in Madrid its complete range of gear racks for gates and traffic lights for commercial and road use, with the new VIACONTROL, the smart traffic light control unit.
Stagnoli Accessories is taking part in Ifema Smartdoors, held in Madrid from 10 to 13 November. Installers, distributors and automation manufacturers can find us at stand 7G12.
For over forty years Stagnoli has been a reference for accessories in the Home & Building Automation sector, with products Made in Italy since 1980. At the show, the company from Lonato del Garda (BS) presents its entire range of gear racks for gates and traffic lights for commercial and road use. The racks include heavy-duty, residential and modular nylon versions, as well as steel ones, among them the recent ACRN5, light and durable.
VIACONTROL, traffic light control made simple
The novelty is VIACONTROL, the new traffic light control unit designed for gates, crossings and private roads. It is a single compact 6-module DIN unit that controls two traffic lights and offers auxiliary outputs for the rest of the automation. Its strength is simplicity: connect the traffic lights, choose a mode and set two timers.
Main features
- Easy installation. The 6-module DIN enclosure (106 × 90.2 × 57.8 mm) snaps onto a standard rail, with no external boards or custom brackets.
- Universal 24V – 230V voltage. The same unit accepts both power supplies, so you can choose the wiring best suited to the electrical panel.
- Intuitive programming. The 2.2″ colour display and four keys (+, −, ESC, ENTER) guide the configuration in a few minutes, with no PC, app or additional cables. The display shows in real time the status of the two traffic lights, the inputs and the auxiliary outputs.
- Configurable AUX outputs. Two auxiliary contacts (NC/COM/NO) control gate motors, barriers, alarms or signage without additional relay boards. The unit also supplies power for 24V accessories, up to 0.5 A.
- Three inputs. IN1, IN2 and IN3 allow you to connect sensors, inductive loops or push buttons.
- Two- or three-colour lanterns. A single VIACONTROL manages the entire pair of traffic lights.
Three operating modes for every need
Mode | How it works | Ideal for |
Priority | The cycle starts on request, when triggered by a sensor or a push button | Residential building exits |
Time | The two lanterns alternate on a fixed time, without sensors | Industrial driveways |
State | The green stays on as long as its input is held active | Emergencies, oversize loads |
An application example: the exit of a one-way car park
In Priority mode, the main road normally keeps the green. When an inductive loop detects a vehicle exiting and activates IN1, the traffic lights switch over for the set green time. A clearance time follows, keeping the section safe, and the system returns to standby. The result is a safe, timed manoeuvre with no manual intervention.
Come and see us in Madrid
The Stagnoli team will be at the stand to show VIACONTROL live, discuss the needs of each project and explain the opportunities for collaboration.

FAQ
Where and when is Ifema Smartdoors held, and where can I find Stagnoli?
Ifema Smartdoors takes place in Madrid from 10 to 13 November. Stagnoli Accessories is at stand 7G12.
What products is Stagnoli presenting at the show?
The complete range of gear racks for gates and traffic lights for commercial and road use, with the new VIACONTROL, the new traffic light control unit.
What is VIACONTROL?
It is a smart traffic light controller for gates, crossings and private roads. A single compact 6-module DIN unit controls two traffic lights and has auxiliary outputs for the rest of the automation.
How many traffic lights can a single VIACONTROL manage?
Two, with two or three colours.
What power supply does it require?
It accepts both 24V and 230V with the same unit, without changing model.
How is it installed?
The 6-module DIN enclosure snaps onto a standard rail in the electrical panel. No external boards or custom brackets are needed.
How is it programmed? Do I need a PC or an app?
No. Configuration is done directly on the unit, with the 2.2″ colour display and the four keys (+, −, ESC, ENTER).
What operating modes does it offer?
Three: Priority (the cycle starts on request from a sensor or push button), Time (the lanterns alternate on a fixed time) and State (the green stays on as long as the input is held active).
What are the AUX outputs for?
They are two configurable auxiliary contacts (NC/COM/NO) that control gate motors, barriers, alarms or signage without an additional relay board. The unit can also power 24V accessories, up to 0.5 A.
What inputs does the controller have?
Three inputs (IN1, IN2, IN3) for connecting sensors, inductive loops or push buttons.
Can I use it for a residential building exit or a one-way car park?
Yes, it is one of the typical use cases. In Priority mode, when a sensor detects a vehicle exiting, the traffic lights switch over for the set green time. A clearance time follows, then it returns to standby.
Where can I find the datasheet, manual and video?
On the dedicated VIACONTROL page of the Stagnoli Accessories website.
