Traffic Light era200 With Elegant Design

Stagnoli has introduced the ERA200. This new elegant traffic light combining EN-12368-compliant performance with refined aesthetics has been designed to integrate harmoniously into city centres and along suburban roads.

Technology and functionality

The ERA200 has been designed to meet the most demanding visibility, durability and safety standards. This UV-resistant traffic light is equipped with optical components and EN-12368-certified materials so as to ensure reliable performance in adverse weather conditions and high visibility even in strong sunlight. The light signals have been calibrated to provide uniform light distribution, minimise glare and shadows, and ensure that the light message is clear from every angle of view.

Shape, geometry and design

Stagnoli has adopted essential but careful geometries: this traffic light box for urban applications has clear lines, rigorous proportions and flat surfaces that are slightly contoured to facilitate rainwater run-off and reduce dust accumulation. The edges are rounded to soften the visual blow and reduce risks in the event of accidental impact. The profile is square, almost modular and able to dialogue with contemporary urban spaces—such as façades, street furniture, poles and canopies—in order to show order and rigour.

The colour and finish have been designed to last, as the paintwork is UV, scratch and weather resistant. The glass or polycarbonate that protects the lenses has been treated to ensure transparency even after years of exposure and to protect against the formation of rings or opacity.

Urban, suburban and road applications

ERA200 is the ideal solution for:

  • Densely populated urban areas, where the traffic lights must integrate with public furniture, historical or modern buildings, and existing horizontal and vertical signage. Here, the geometric cleanliness and finish of the materials help to maintain visual harmony even in complex environments.
  • Suburban or peripheral areas, where visibility at a distance is crucial. Its ability to transmit intense light signals, robust design and compliance with regulations allow safe use even on fast-flowing roads with changing weather conditions.
  • External roads and interurban routes—especially at critical points such as intersections, junctions and dangerous crossings—where the accuracy, reliability and endurance of the light message are essential.
